Received a call from Larry James, who was married to Sadie (Irene) Scott James.  He informed me that she died on June 24, 1992.  I have requested a copy of her obituary.  Rest in peace, Irene.

The Obituary-Sadie Irene Scott was delightfully born on December 20, 1950.  She took her flight from this life on Wednesday, June 24, 1992, 5:34 A.M. at Henrico Doctors' Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.

She was an employee of Henrico Doctors' Hospital where she enthusiastically and skillfully served as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

She joined The Deliverance Cathedral of Love Church at an early age and was a loyal, faithful and dedicated worker until moving to Richmond where she attended St. Philip's Episcopal Church.  Her radiant ministry was one of joy, help and spreading the abundant love of Jesus Christ with everyone with whom she came in contact.

In 1983 she graduated from Elon College, Burlington, NC as Cum Laude receiving a B.S. degree in Radiology Technology.

Her life exemplified Christianity.  All who have known her have been really blessed and uplifted.  We will all miss Irene.  She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry D. James; daughter, Jennifer Irene, age 2: her mother, Mrs. Annie M. Scott of Raleigh, NC; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia D Bennet(Oscar) of Plainsfield, NJ, Mrs. Ernestine S. Lucas, Mrs. Mary E. Mayo(Clarence), Mrs. Lottie F. Johnson(Kenneth), all of Raleigh, NC; six brothers, Bud V. Scott, Sr.(Annette), Timothy M. Scott, Stewart Scott,(Valecia), David Scott, Nathaniel Scott, Sr. (Annette), Randolph Scott, Sr. (Pam), all of Raleigh, NC; a dear, devoted mother-in-law, Mrs. Mable M. James of Wilmington, NC, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends, a very dedicated and loyal friend, Mrs. Fannie S. Baylor of Richmond, VA.
